Ocean Bay Park

Ocean Bay Park (OBP), a hamlet of the Town of Brookhaven, is a multi-generational family community with just under 300 homes, and two restaurants, a grocery store, liquor store, ice cream parlor, pizzeria, and deli. Two hotels bring short-term guests and provide a lovely venue for weddings. There are no lifeguards in OBP but its neighboring communities, Seaview and Ocean Beach, do have full-time lifeguards in season. OBP boasts its own highly rated fire department, and receives EMS service from the Ocean Beach Fire Department. Year round police protection is provided by the Suffolk County Marine Bureau. The homeowner’s association hosts a popular Community Fair each summer and provides rides to the ferry dock for senior members.
