Corneille Estates

A quiet family community of 70 homes bordering the west end of Ocean Beach, Corneille Estates is two blocks wide. It has no shops, restaurants or public facilities but is the home of Fire Island’s important Woodhull School for Pre-K to 6th grade. With larger properties and pristine beachfront, Clipper Walk runs from bay to ocean and is unique in that its homes are accessed from boardwalks with elevation changes that follow the ground topography. Frigate and June are the other wooden walks, creating an inner labyrinth accessible from Corneille’s eastern boundary. Surf Road provides access to a dozen or so homes not readily accessible from Clipper.
