Summer Club
Fire Island Summer Club is comprised of a two-block enclave of bay-to-ocean land, bordering Ocean Beach and Corneille Estates on the east and the National Seashore preserve on the west. Created in 1949 as the Fire Island Beach Club, this unique condominium community of 45 homes affords privacy and a lifestyle protected from development. The quietude of Summer Club contrasts noticeably with the markets, shops, restaurants, and busy marinas found in nearby Ocean Beach, allowing residents to enjoy the serenity of their community with a bustling town just minutes away. Members of Summer Club enjoy exclusive access to a private bay beach with boat moorings, a gym, a play area, and the beautifully maintained synthetic turf tennis courts. Its distinctive red-roofed historic landmark building on the bay is an original Coast Guard station that was brought over across the Great South Bay from Blue Point.
